Seefeld, Germany, February 18th 2021, die Posiflex Group (www.posiflex.de, www.kiosk.eu, www.portwell.eu) a leading global provider of POS, self-service and embedded computing technologies, today announce the creation of a sales, business development and marketing center for Europe. In KIOSK Embedded Systems GmbH, the competencies of the interfaces to the customer are centrally bundled, in order to be able to act even more effectively and agile on the requirements of the markets. To this end, Kiosk Information Systems was merged into Portwell Deutschland GmbH under the new name of KIOSK Embedded Systems GmbH. At the same time, KIOSK Embedded Systems GmbH has moved into new company headquarters in 82229 Seefeld, Am Technologiepark 8-10 (near Munich).
KIOSK Embedded Systems GmbH is responsible for the Portwell and KIOSK brands within the European group. Nothing will change in the previous brand appearances.
KIOSK is originally from the USA and is the market leader there. Their broad know-how in the field of self-service solutions across all industries has now successfully arrived in Europe. At KIOSK, customers can choose from a wide range of standard and customer-specific kiosks. The Serviced IoT (SIoT) offer of KIOSK, focuses on the vertical segments of retail (food and non-food) in areas such as telecom and banking, as well as the hotel industry, fast-food restaurants (QSR), gaming/lottery, transport/logistics and access control.
Portwell, the well-known embedded computer manufacturer, will serve industrial customers in the Industrial IoT (IIoT) target markets - automation, medical technology and network technology / applied computing with its portfolio of modules, embedded boards, systems, gateways and networking products in proven quality. They can also take advantage of services from the comprehensive Customization / Original Design Manufacturing ODM and development offer, which supports the rapid market entry of products.
